Important Safety Information

  1. Read these instructions before every use.
  2. Keep this leaflet with your wheat bag.
  3. Not suitable for individuals with reduced skin sensitivity (e.g. diabetics, those with nerve damage or cognitive impairments).
  4. Misuse or overheating may result in burns, injury, or fire.

Benefits & Uses

Wheat bags offer a natural and reusable alternative to traditional hot or cold compresses.
 When heated, they may help:

  1. Relieve muscle aches, joint stiffness, and back pain
  2. Ease menstrual cramps
  3. Promote relaxation and aid sleep
  4. Soothe tension headaches and stress

When chilled, they may help:

  1. Reduce swelling, inflammation, and bruising
  2. Ease minor sprains or strains
  3. Alleviate sinus pressure and fever symptoms

Using Your Wheat Bag – Heated

  1. Place the wheat bag flat in the center of the microwave. Ensure it does not obstruct the turntable.
  2. Do not heat for more than 1 minute at a time. If further heating is needed, shake and turn the bag between intervals.
  3.  Stop immediately if you detect a burning smell.
  4. Carefully remove and gently shake to redistribute the contents.
  5. Always check the temperature is comfortable before use.
  6. Allow to cool completely before reheating or storing on a non-combustible surface (e.g. kitchen sink).

Using as a Cold Compress

  1. Place the wheat bag in a sealed plastic bag.
  2. Chill in the refrigerator or freezer for at least 45 minutes before use.

Storage, Cleaning & Maintenance

  1. Ensure the bag is completely cool and dry before storing.
  2. Store in a cool, dry place with this leaflet.
  3. Spot clean only with a damp cloth.
  4. Do not wash or immerse in water.
  5. Heat at least once per month to prevent spoilage.
  6. Replace every six months for hygiene and safety.

Overheating Warning
Signs of overheating include:

  1. Burning smell
  2. Charring
  3. Smoke

If any of these occur, place the wheat bag on a non-combustible surface and allow it to cool fully before disposal.
Wheat bags made with 100% cotton are biodegradable and compostable.

Safety Warnings

  1. Do not overheat.
  2. Do not use if burnt or smelling scorched.
  3. Do not leave unattended in the microwave.
  4. Do not apply immediately if overheated—let it cool first.
  5. Do not use on one area for more than 5 minutes continuously.
  6. Use with caution on children or elderly individuals—always supervise.
  7. Do not use under bedding.
  8. Microwave use only—do not heat in ovens or on stovetops.
  9. Do not add oils or fragrances—these increase fire risk.

Naturally Relieves and Soothes
For best results, use as directed and replace every six months.
